We’re rolling into Round 12 of the Betfred Championship, with two games kickstarting the action on Saturday.
Goole Vikings will welcome league leaders London Broncos to Victoria Pleasure Ground, whilst Newcastle Thunder host Batley Bulldogs in the Northeast.
The only previous meeting between Goole and London came in an early Betfred Challenge Cup match in 2025, where the Vikings pulled off an emphatic and shock 0-17 victory in the capital.
London nearly beaten by Doncaster this weekend – will they be pushed all the way by Goole too? Or can they continue their 100% winning record in 2026?
Then, both Newcastle and Batley enter this match on the back of emphatic wins in Round 11.
On Sunday, Barrow entertain Oldham, with only two points separating them in the league table.
Dewsbury are at home to Whitehaven and will be hoping to back up their brilliant win against Rochdale last weekend.
A revitalised Hunslet are seeking a fourth straight win having well and truly turned their season around.
Hunslet have beaten Keighley, Newcastle and Whitehaven, and will take on Workington Town on home turf in Round 11.
This will be their first meeting since 2024 – a season where there were two closely contested matches between the two sides (24-32 to Workington and 22-24 to Hunslet).
Will it be Keighley or Halifax who return to winning ways? It’s the Panthers who have won their last 15 meetings with the Cougars – most recently in 2023, where Louis Jouffret’s dramatic drop goal snatched victory for the visitors (22-23).
Third-placed Midlands will travel to face Swinton Lions – a team who are yet to win a game this year.
Behind the Hurricanes are four teams on fourteen points, with London and Barrow above them in first and second.
Finally, two Championship heavyweights in Sheffield and Widnes will go head-to-head. They current occupy 8th and 7th in the table but won’t want to settle for those positions.
